03/11/2002 Entry: "Duke's Hollywood Cowboys is proud to announce the celebration of John Wayne's 95th Birthday"

Ermal Williamson, the John Wayne Look-alike and president of the John Wayne fan club, Duke's Hollywood Cowboys is proud to announce the celebration of John Wayne's 95th Birthday this year will be held at the Old Tucson Studios in Tucson, Arizona May 24th and 25th.
Old Tucson Studios is the location of many of John Wayne's movies. The Studios will be rolling out the Red Carpet for Duke's Hollywood Cowboys with Ermal performing on Friday at noon as John Wayne, and again three times on Saturday at noon, 2 and 4 o'clock. Any member or guest in costume will be admitted free.
Ramada Inns are giving Duke Hollywood Cowboys and guests a discount for the rooms if you show them who you are. So come dressed in your favorite characters and have a great celebration.
The party will resume in Tombstone, Arizona with the help of some Wyatt Earp and other impersonators for the Wyatt Earp Days, culminating in exciting gun fights at the O K Corral. The weekend's events will also include a trip to the muddy rock quarry location site outside Tombstone where Duke and Maureen O'Hara had their mud slide scene.
Duke's Hollywood Cowboys have been celebrating John Wayne's Birthdays at places like the Alamo in Bracketville, Texas, the Wild Goose in Newport Beach, and Hollywood, among other favorite sites and digs where John Wayne hung out. Any fan of John Wayne is invited to attend as a guest of Duke's Hollywood Cowboys. Simply respond to ermal@earthlink.net, or ermal@attbi.com, or visit the web site at www.ermal.com.
Ermal is the gentleman who portrays the Duke in the Coors Light Beer commercials. He's been in the limelight for over eleven years, including two documentaries about Duke's life, and a live television show from Monument Valley with Ermal as the Duke on Ford Point. This year, 2002, is proving to be one of Ermal's finest years. He is the author of three western novels in the tadition of John Wayne which are listed on Amazon.com - Across the Brazos, The Man From the Brazos, and to be released, Call of the Brazos. Screen writing is being considered for Across the Brazos.
Come to Old Tucson May 24-25th and hear him portray John Wayne at his best, and have your photo taken with him, and other members of the Duke's Hollywood Cowboys. You may want to join Duke's Hollywood Cowboys. Again - the website is www.ermal.com.
